Anderson & House, founded in 1906, has a legacy reaching back to the early boom days of Oklahoma City. Construction methods may have changed, but Anderson & House's commitment to quality continues.
The firm has constructed some of the region's most significant buildings, several listed on the National Register. In some cases, Anderson & House was the original builder, as well as the renovation contractor. The firm completed Oklahoma City's Central High School in 1912 and later repair extensive damage following the Murrah bombing three blocks away. Similar examples exist for historic hotels, technology companies and educational buildings.
The firm's commitment to quality craftmanship and project management has earned them many loyal clients. Rising to the challenge of technically complex renovation projects is one of Anderson & House's hallmarks.

Our employees attend annual OSHA classes in order to keep our safety sword at its sharpest. Weekly on-site discussions and monthly office talks keep safety a #1 priority in preparing the procedures to fulfill your project needs. Our Experience Modification Rate, as shown below, is a testimony to our dedication to safety in all facets.
The Experience Modification Rate (EMR) is a rate based on a formula used by insurance companies that compares hours worked versus injury claims made. If a company is at the industry average their EMR is 1.0. If a company's experience is 20% better than the industry average than its EMR would be .80 or if it were 20% worse it would be 1.20. We are proud to declare that we have never had an EMR over 1.0 and in recent history, as you can in the chart to the right, has been well above the industry average. We take pride in our safety, almost to a fault!
2007 EMR = .84
2006 EMR = .87
2005 EMR = .85
2004 EMR = .86
